Pedagogical Philosophy

My aim is to imbue students with the critical thinking, communication, leadership and writing skills that they can carry well beyond my courses and mentoring. In doing so, I intend to foster an inclusive environment that encourages students to become critically engaged citizens, to inspire engaged community-based research that centers on social justice and positive social change.
